This clinic is extremely isolated in the highlands of PNG bordering onto Indonesia Papua. Access for medical supplies and building materials was by Adventist Aviation pilots flying the three hour return trips to and from Mt. Hagen. The area population is around 11,000 people. It is located eight days walk from the nearest town of Telafomin. The project undertaken by volunteers was in 2012/2013. The location is 1200 metres above sea level and surrounded by high mountains. Tumolbil means 'valley of stone'. The SDA church has eleven sister churches in the surrounding areas.
